One of America’s newest congresswomen is going to be sworn into office wearing a traditional Palestinian garment.

US Rep.-elect Rashida Tlaib announced her garment choice on Instagram.

“Sneak peek: This is what I am wearing when I am sworn into Congress,” she said.

Dearborn has a huge population of Muslims and in Hamtramck sirens go off to call for worship and they throw down their rugs.
