On Saturday, Eshki met with Foreign Ministry Director-General Dore Gold, the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories Maj.-Gen. Yoav Mordechai, and several Knesset members from the opposition.

Such a visit by former general Eshki, who was once a top adviser to the Saudi government, is an extremely rare occurrence. “While this wasn’t an official visit, it was a highly unusual one, as Eshki couldn’t have traveled to Israel without approval from the Saudi government,” the Haaretz newspaper said.

There have been various media reports of clandestine talks between Israel and Arab powers, who have come to see the Jewish state as a possible ally against what they consider to be a far greater threat — Iran and its regional aspirations.

I’m fairly certain the article I posted dispelled the idea there wouldn’t be any talks without Jared. Those overtures happened in the wake of the Iran deal, during the campaign, when neither Israel nor Saudi Arabia knew who would be president. Due to the uncertainty and common interests, they took it upon themselves. Things like that do not happen overnight, so common sense tells you previous communications had been established.

Lots of involvement ...I had posted links (when they were still up) last year as to his involvement and those involved in other holding companies or subsidiaries of Jared and his brother Joshua's start up companies Cadre & Thrive Capital.  (I don't remember which came first - but I do know it has been reported that the money came from Soros) -- both eventually linked to the Middle East.

I find it ironic that Trump signed over his business 'dealings' and responsibilities to his companies to his sons, yet his son-in-law continues on.  Granted Kushner has sold off some of his 'interests' in various companies, but he has amended several times his disclosure statement(s) regarding foreign contacts and he was fined a very minuscule amount for being late on filing an ethics form ...
.... Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump, senior advisers to President Donald Trump, were both fined $200 for missing deadlines to submit financial reports required by government ethics rules, according to documents and interviews.

It’s the second time that Kushner has been fined for late filing as part of his months-long process of divesting pieces of his vast business empire to serve in the White House, a highly unusual occurrence.....
