Quote
The midterm elections showed that college-educated voters are fleeing the Republican Party and casting ballots for Democratic candidates, according to The Wall Street Journal.

Democrats had gained control of 33 formerly Republican house seats as of Friday, with other races too close to call.

Twenty-eight of the 33 flipped seats "are in the top half among all House districts for educational attainment, meaning more than 30% of adults there have bachelor’s or more-advanced degrees," the Journal reported.

The Democratic Party now controls 90 percent of the 30 House districts with the highest proportions of college-educated people. Going into the midterm elections, Democrats only held two-thirds of these seats.

A "college degree" at any level, is a credential, such as a Passport,
and has absolutely nothing to do w/any intellectual achievement.
The Ancient Greeks and Romans; among them Plato, Aristotle,
Archimedes, Euclid, Caesar, Cicero, Aurelius, Virgil, were all self
educated, yet managed to create western civilization w/o degrees,
the poor things!!!

And I have the high school degree to prove it!  wink777

  • Dems-greatest existential threat to USA republic!
None of this nonsense is to be believed.  I have multiple degrees, and I am a strong Trump supporter.  I think he is the best president this country has had in my 65 years on this planet.

I also believe the Clinton should be indicted, convicted, and receive the Rosenberg treatment.  This from someone who sent most of his life as a Democrat.

The Democrat Party is fully in the hands of communists.  It is not the party of FDR and JFK, not by a long shot.

What happened is a direct reflection of historical contrarism.  Has it ever happened that in the first midterm following a presidential election that the opposition did not win?  Based on everything I have heard this week, it sounds like standard operating procedure.

Except in certain fields, a degree is really just worth a point on your job application.  Companies use it as a way of screening applicants.
Against stupidity, the Gods themselves contend in vain.

LOL. What a steaming pile of shit. We got a Snoozeweak article re-vomiting a Wall Street article based off of EXIT POLLING. This is the same exit polling that had the House, Senate and the Pope going to the Rats at about 5PM that day.

Frank I suspect it has been a long time since you were in college.  Going to college these days is an education in social engineering.  An education that gives you a degree in Communism.

Liberal Bias Starts Long Before College

High schools are the problem.

By Maria Biery • July 6, 2017

There are too many examples of college campus craziness to count. There are entire websites—such as Campus Reform and The College Fix—that specialize in reporting the liberal bias, political correctness, and all around daily madness of institutions of higher education. However, for all the attention we give to these episodes at the collegiate level, we miss the root of the problem, and without addressing the cause we can’t hope for a solution.

The truth is, indoctrination of America’s youth begins long before college.

In my own experience, during my years at a public high school, I had a teacher who aired his left-leaning political views on a daily basis, during class hours, when we were supposed to be learning biology. I can remember sitting in the back of the class with my fists clenched asking myself, “What are we learning right now besides what he thinks about politics?” There was no space to debate him. Numerous students told their parents about it, but, at the end of the day, we all knew we couldn’t do anything. He was set to retire in a few years, he had tenure in the school district, and this was an AP class. No one was willing to risk their grade or their chances of getting into college over a forced hour and a half of frustration per day.

    • I try my best ...
I have heard this mantra after every election in my life. Liberals are, shall we say 'not bright' and delusional. A man can "wish" himself into a woman for example. Part of their delusional thinking is extreme superiority to anyone who disagrees with anything they believe. They believe themselves and their opinions to be 'infallible' which is why they refuse to debate anything. There is no need to debate. They are right, you are wrong, end of debate. Why would I dain to debate with someone who is my intellectual inferior?

There is no intelligent person in America who would wish for Socialism or Communism. That is a death wish only a fool who does not understand history, economics, or politics would want. It is a form of insanity. Even if the Democrats think of themselves as, 'Oh so enlightened and intellectual and superior'. I, and many others, think of them as brainwashed idiots with no understanding of governments or the world.

You cannot "COEXIST" with people who want to kill you.
If they kill their own with no conscience, there is nothing to stop them from killing you.

I live in a rural blue collar area. Strong Trump country.  My siblings live in very well to do areas, high earners and lots of college degrees = Hillary and liberal enclaves.  I know this is anycedontal evidence.

If you look at the audiences at Trump rallys you can  tell it's a blue collar, middle class crowd (mostly)

Trumps base is rural conservatives.
