The RATES of terrorism by Whites vs Muslims in the USA
Recently, CNN's Don Lemon has claimed that white males in the USA
should be deported because they commit more acts of terrorism than Muslims do.
He cites government statistics on terrorism that do in fact document
more attacks by Whites than by Muslims in the USA.
But what are the RATES of terrorism committed by the two groups?

http://www.gao.gov/assets/690/683984.pdf Since then — from Sept. 12, 2001, to Dec. 31, 2016 — there have been 85 attacks in the country by violent extremists resulting in 225 deaths. GAO reported citing data from the U.S. Extremist Crime Database.
Of those 225 deaths:
• 106 individuals were killed by far-right violent extremists in 62 separate incidents;
• 119 individuals were killed by radical Islamist violent extremists in 23 separate incidents;
GAO noted that 41 percent of the deaths caused by a radical Islamist during the reviewed period happened in one incident: the 2016 Orlando nightclub shooting. In June 2016, Omar Mateen, born in the United States to Afghan parents, killed 49 people at Pulse nightclub in Orlando.
But what are the RATES of violence among white males versus Islamic terrorists in the USA?
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, there are 234,000,000 whites in the USA.
Half of them, 117,000,000 would be male.
Half of that number, 59,000,000 would be in the age range
where they are likely to engage in violence.
Pew Research estimates that there are 3,400,000 Muslims in the USA.
Half of them, 1,700,000 would be male.
Half of that number, 850,000 would be in the age range
where they are likely to engage in violence.
62 incidents out of a population of 59,000,000 white male adults
gives a rate of one incident per 943,548 white male adults,
resulting in one death per 556,604 white male adults.
23 incidents out of a population of 850,000 Islamic male adults
gives a rate of one incident caused per 36,956 Islamic male adults
resulting in one death per 7143 Islamic male adults.
All this shows that
an average Islamic male adult in the USA
is 25.5 times as likely to commit a deadly act of terrorism
as an average white male adult.
And
an average Islamic male adult in the USA
causes 77.9 times as many deaths in acts of terrorism
as an average white male adult.
And this is NOT counting the nearly 3000 deaths
caused by Islamic terrorists on 9-11 !
