Schumer & Pelosi Reject Trump’s Call For Unity… Blame Him After Pipe Bomb Scare

Pelosi, Schumer Bash Trump’s Calls for Unity

No investigative body would ever release pictures of the devices while the investigation is ongoing.

Schumer and Pelosi: “President Trump’s words ring hollow until he reverses his statements that condone acts of violence. Time and time again, the President has condoned physical violence and divided Americans with his words and his actions: expressing support for the congressman who body-slammed a reporter, the neo-Nazis who killed a young woman in Charlottesville, his supporters at rallies who get violent with protesters, dictators around the world who murder their own citizens, and referring to the free press as the enemy of the people.”

I wouldn't be surprised at the end of the day that we find out that someone from the left paid this guy to send these.
Romans 12:16-21

Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly, do not claim to be wiser than you are.  Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.  If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all…do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

He had to have had help.  Someone delivered some of the packages, since they didn't go through the US mail.  Also, if this guy was living with his mother... and was that poor... how did he afford all those nice, seemingly NEW decals, on that nice ... looking like new (paint job?) van?   It's just all too stinky, as is usually the case when dealing with leftists and their agenda.

No, they never will.  I will say I don't like Trump to do any of that crap either.  We have Maxine Watters promoting violence....  It isn't appropriate for any politicians representing our country.

Democrats will use anything leading up to elections.  Even some mentally ill weirdo who makes pipe bombs that don't go off.  They should be careful because mental illness has no political party.

If you want to make a connection it is to the moral decline in our country.  The political fighting.  If we would just return to governing according to our Constitution and our laws we wouldn't have this.  People are being radicalized because there are no clear boundaries.  Like immigration for instance.  It has caused the greatest divide in our country.  Because we have laws that have been allowed to be broken for years.  People are hurt by this disregard of law.  And our representatives and President all take an oath to uphold our Constitution and laws.  The Constitution saying that our government will protect us from invasion.

That single issue has causes extreme views on both sides of the isle.  Extreme views coupled with mental illness is a recipe for violence.

Both sides of the isle needs to return to rule of law.

I really thought that too.  He is a registered Republican.  It seems they haven't even determined that the things would blow up.

I hate to say it, but it sure looks like he was a Trump supporter that was so extreme he was unstable.

However, I sure don't want to see Trump "tone it down". It's the left that is most often committing violence against conservatives and it is the leftist politicians who are most often promoting violence. There is no reason for conservatives to be embarrassed, or to "tone it down".

He was originally from New York, apparently, and had a criminal record of some sort.  What possessed him to start sending these bombs, we may never know.

But, it is suspiciously close to the election and I wouldn't be at all surprised to find dirty little leftist fingers involved.

As for promoting violence, no sane person could claim that the Republicans are responsible.

I'm having a hard time thinking of specifics where Trump told supporters to kick opponents when they're down, get in opponents faces, harass opponents, or refused to condemn violence perpetrated against opponents. I do recall Trump saying those who would "take him behind the woodshed" would get the worst of it and during the campaign telling supporters to go ahead throw out bums that were paid to cause trouble.

If you or other posters can provide links I would read them, but I think what the left considers threats against them are really just being confronted with the reality that they are wrong about everything.

NTers will believe almost any negative things about Trump.

Okay, he is confrontive and can be crude but he has never encouraged violence against political opponents that I know of.

But that's my point, the only time he seems to encourage fighting back is at his rallies when paid troublemakers showed up. I know this might not be popular, but I really don't have a problem with supporters dealing with a troublemaker at a rally. It's when people are peacefully going about their lives and they are attacked, confronted, or harassed that is the issue for me.

If I went to some leftist rally for (insert any Rat politician here) and I started disrupting it should I really be surprised that the idiotic followers might want to mix it up with me?

Part of my point is anyone who has threatened him directly he has confronted them. Biden comes to mind with his "behind the woodshed" comment to which Trump said Biden would lose that one pretty quickly. IOW, Trump doesn't tell supporters to go get in opponents faces, or harass them.

Agreed.  So far, that's a strictly leftist thing.

One of Trump's great qualities is he's not much of a politician. He doesn't follow all the "niceties" and "protocols". He confronts people to their face, or does it publicly in response to something.

I really don't. I didn't like a lot of the stuff in the primaries, but that was then and this is now.
