    WASHINGTON/ESQUIPULAS, Guatemala (Reuters) - The organizer of a migrant caravan from Honduras was detained in Guatemala on Tuesday as the U.S. government threatened to withdraw aid from both countries and El Salvador if the flow of migrants north to the United States was not stopped.

    Up to 3,000 migrants, according to organizers’ estimates, crossed from Honduras into Guatemala on a trek northward after a standoff on Monday with police in riot gear.

    The Honduran Foreign Ministry called on its citizens not to join the group. The government “urges the Hondurans taking part in this irregular mobilization not to be used by a movement that is clearly political,” it said.

Wow.  Who knew....?   That all it would take is for the Godfather of Crass to "explain the benefits" (threaten to withhold aid) to get all of this BS migration stuff to stop.  My only question....

what took him so long?

Good move on Trump's part.  But yes, why did that take him so long to state?

My opinion is that if that invasion army makes it to our border Trump should issue an immediate statement that he is closing the border for national security reasons and anyone caught illegally crossing will be shot.

That ought to give pause to the invasion army - and they can decide if their lives are worth risking for the meager cash Soros paid them to try and invade the country.

The Left will go absolutely bonkers, but hell - let them.  Border closed, end of discussion.

Maybe Trump can state he is not reopening the border until he gets full funding for his 'wall' that Mexico is going to pay for and a totally revamped immigration system.
