She has a point in a skewed weird sort of way. It is true that beautiful women have a kind of disability. It is a good one to have in many ways, but they are never treated as 'normal people'. Which I think is what Amy's point was.
Beautiful women are always beautiful women and it is hard for them to be anything other than that. Just as a Black person always has to wonder if their success is based on race or merit, beautiful women have that same issue. They are both minorities and are treated as such by normal society. In that sense, Amy is right. As for 'feeling sorry' for them, well that is just sour grapes.
