Obama-era Attorney General Eric Holder reacted to the confirmation of Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court Saturday by questioning the legitimacy of the court and arguing that it needed to regain the nation's trust.

Holder -- who served as the nation’s top lawyer under former President Barack Obama from 2009 to 2015 -- said the treatment of former Supreme Court nominee Merrick Garland by Senate Republicans, as well as Kavanaugh’s confirmation, meant the legitimacy of the court was in question.

“With the confirmation of Kavanaugh and the process which led to it, (and the treatment of Merrick Garland), the legitimacy of the Supreme Court can justifiably be questioned,” he tweeted. “The Court must now prove - through its work - that it is worthy of the nation’s trust.”

Holder has stated that he “is considering” running for president in 2020.  He was born in the Bronx, a borough of New York City, in 1951 to an American-born mother and Barbadian father who arrived in the U.S. at age 11.

The Bronx! Surprised he wasn't born in jail!

Whereas.... Eric Holder has already proven, over and above, his illegitimacy via his double standards of justice (ie if you're white or especially if you're a white police officer, you're guilty of racism automatically... and if you're black, you're automatically innocent, especially when it comes to voter intimidation).

Some of the people with law degrees are the most ignorant of the U.S. Constitution. Doesn't say much for American law schools.

Why is the lied under oath POS still walking around free as a bird?
"I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo.

"So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us."

@mountaineer

I'm told that the Constitution is no longer a part of the course of study at most law schools these days.  They confine themselves to case law entirely now.

Holder's signal achievement was singlehandedly disproving the Peter Principle. He rose far beyond his level of incompetency.

Washington Times:

"Holder told investigators he didn’t know of this program, dubbed Fast & Furious, before Terry’s murder.

But the House Oversight Committee report authors say that’s just not true.

“The new report states that the Justice Department knew before Terry’s death in 2010 that the ATF was ‘walking’ firearms to Mexico and knew the day after the agent’s death that weapons from Fast and Furious were involved in the shootout, despite denying these facts to the media,” Fox News said."

And the pr*ck is still walking around free condemning someone else's credibility.

Well, in Holder's case.... it's a level of deliberate/intentional incompetency.  And it's one reason why I've been against unions, and especially public sector unions, for most of my politically active and aware life.  No telling how many of "Holder's people" still, to this day, are getting paid very well for NOT doing their jobs.... whether due to their own incompetency or due to an "attitude problem".  They get away with it because companies don't want to get sued for racism or discrimination.
