Federal Judge Amy Coney Barrett offered congratulations to Brett Kavanaugh on Saturday for becoming the newest member of the Supreme Court after a contentious confirmation fight.

"Congratulations to Justice Kavanaugh and his family. I believe he will be an excellent Justice, dedicated to the Constitution and the rule of law," Barrett tweeted.

Eisenhower made THREE recess appointments to the Supreme Court in his term.
The three justices served their full terms (after Senate approval).

And they all turned out to be terrible justices, too. Earl Warren? William Brennan? They took the Constitution, made origami out of it, and set it on fire.
