Justice Kavanaugh, welcome to the Supreme Court...your courage, reason and determination during this obscene assault on sanity, process, intellect and decency speaks well of your future as a Justice.

The Dems and the Left WILL pay a steep price for their disgusting behavior in this nomination...they have awoken the Dragon that is the conservative base.

Finally, Bless you, Justice Kavanaugh and kudos to Susan Collins for standing up to this travesty. I have never been a fan of hers, but she has shown some real salt here and has my respect.

Let me add one extraordinary and disgusting truth...that every "Yea" vote Senator must now ensure they have intensive personal security over the next 30 hours. The Left has given its wink and nod to direct violence "for the cause" and that is a fearful sign for the rule of law, the Constitution, and the internal health of the nation. There is a real physical danger here for elected members of the United States Senate, and quite frankly that makes me very angry...and even more fearful for the Republic.

Knowing that Collins would have a captive audience hanging on her every word.

Not only did she cinch Kavanaugh's nomination,  she also set the table for a very nice midterm result for the GOP.

Agree.  It makes us look like a third-world country that these crazed, maybe paid, loony tunes are endangering our elected officials.  Mrs. Rand Paul sleeps with a gun beside her bed.  How has it come to this?

I'm not getting excited about this confirmation until they actually vote, there's still time to change minds. The weak kneed three; Flake, Collins & Murkowski just show how much we really need conservatives in the Senate. Romney will win, but he'll be with the liberal Pubs. We need to add 4-5 conservatives so if there is another opening a stronger conservative can be nominated. Kavanaugh may turn out to be okay, after the way liberals ruined his reputation, but I'm still inclined to believe he will be similar to Kennedy.

Oddly enough, this entire Kavanaugh fiasco has energized Republicans and even on-the-fence voters and motivated them to vote GOP in November.  Whatever works.

Not even close to rambling. She laid out her decision very precisely. Described the behavior of the left. Then went on to describe his career and temperament. She paid particular attention to his history of following precedent. Then followed it up with a lambasting of the Demmys failure to follow the adage of "innocent until PROVEN guilty, not guilty by accusation.
For someone with no legal training this was a work of art.
