Christine Blasey Ford has been propelled forward into public view with the object of taking down Judge Kavanaugh. James Freeman observes that journalists seem to have lost interest in trying to ascertain whether Ford’s testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee was accurate. Her story is shot through with holes.

One specific she offers in her story is the season and year of the alleged assault. A reader, however, writes to note the changes in Ford’s timeline. The reader calls himself an “engineer with a specialty in data visualization.” He made the graphic illustration below drawing on public sources – “mainly the Washington Post and public legal documents.” The Alleged Incident Date column contains reported quotes from Ford. The reader notes “the sudden story change correlating with the time progression in the Story Date column (first column). For six years her story was ‘mid ’80’s.'”

So confusing (web of deceit).   Seems to me that if nothing else was crystal clear in what subs as Ford's mind.... the year, at least, would be.   Hell, the reality is.... the exact date would be with anyone 'else' that this supposedly happened to, because when something like that happens, people tend to focus and fester over it for years or decades afterward.  I still posit that she made the whole thing up for political purposes.  That is crystal clear to me.

I still believe that something happened to her otherwise it would not have been brought up in a therapy session YEARS before Kavanaugh was nominated. However, her pointing to Kavanaugh looks like the made up thing.

You're giving her credit for not being a liar.  But I know she's a liar, so....

Ford may not be a licensed psychologist, but she should be a certified (if not licensed) manipulator.  A manipulator of the truth, that is.   And who, pray tell, says that they are 100% sure under oath about anything that long ago, much less about someone having assaulted you, based merely on  a memory that "something happened"?

And keep in mind that neither the public nor the Judiciary Committee has seen those therapy notes.....

I can remember two "traumatic" ( I wasn't really traumatized) events in the last forty years. One where i was hit over the head with a liquor bottle at a New Year's Eve Party ( the bottle broke into tiny pieces...I have a very hard head) and the police were called.
I also was involved with a road rage incident where my car was rammed by a paroled ex-convict  who had been in prison for a violent crime. He also rammed my door as I was sitting in the driver's seat. If I had been standing outside my door, he could have killed or seriously injured me.
In both events, I remember exactly where I was and many other pertinent events like it was yesterday.
I remember who did these things to me.  The first one the police came but nobody went to jail.
The second one my assaulter got himself shot and killed by the county cops after refusing to drop a knife when he emerged from his crashed car after a high speed chase.
Both events are etched in my memory.
I find it very difficult to believe Ford could not remember so many pertinent events in something she claims was so traumatic she could barely function  afterwards.
But here is a person who went on to college after hs, and got a phd in psychology. Some stunted career, huh?
