Super Thursday: Fates of Kavanaugh, Rosenstein may be decided on same day

Thursday is shaping up to be a pivotal day for the Trump administration, and a spectacular day for all political junkies.
President Trump plans to meet with Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, and the Senate is expected to hear testimony from Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh and a woman who has accused him of sexual assault.
The day may very well determine voter sentiment just six weeks before the November midterms.
Trump's meeting with Rosenstein will come less than a week after a bombshell report by The New York Times said the No. 2 official at the Justice Department proposed secretly recording conversations with the president and discussed the possibility of invoking the 25th Amendment with Cabinet members to remove Trump from office.
The Senate Judiciary Committee, meanwhile, will hear from Kavanaugh and Christine Blasey Ford, who has publicly accused Kavanaugh of forcing himself on her during a high school party in 1982. Kavanaugh and the White House have repeatedly denied the accusation.
