Former federal prosecutor joins Kavanaugh accuser's legal team

Former federal prosecutor and Justice Department Inspector General Michael Bromwich announced Saturday he was joining the legal team for Christine Blasey Ford, the woman accusing Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault in the 1980s.

“I’m honored to be joining Debra Katz and Lisa Banks in representing Dr. Ford,” he tweeted Saturday afternoon.

Ford alleges Kavanaugh tried to rape her at a high school party and used his hand to muffle her screams. Bromwich has been involved in negotiating with the Senate Judiciary Committee to arrange her testimony. She accepted a deal Saturday to testify this upcoming week.

Bromwich also represents former Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe.

This could end with Kavanaugh being arrested and perp walked out of the hearing.

I don't know about the perp walk but I do worry about him being arrested

There would need to be probable cause to issue an arrest warrant. If she can’t provide enough details that are probable, how will she do that.
