Poland says it will block any EU sanctions against Hungary

WARSAW (Reuters) - Poland, the biggest former communist country in the European Union, said it will oppose any sanctions imposed by the bloc on fellow member Hungary, accused of floating EU rules on democracy.

“Actions aimed against member states serve only deepening divides in the EU, increasing citizens’ current lack of confidence to European institutions.”

Maybe EU is like a mini UN and some countries can veto actions.

Poland, Hungary and the other former East Block countries that are like minded and wish to protect themselves from muslim horrors of the past and preserve their cultures should flip the bird to the EU and form their own union, they could call it the Union of Sanity.

They sure have, since back before the days of Reagan and Pope John Paul II.

When "Western Europe" has vanished as a culture and as an ethnic people, it looks like Eastern Europe may still have a fightin' chance to carry on.

Europe, at the least, France, Germany, they aren't fighting with each other, EU countries are not fighting.

Is this the same for Georgia? Russia? And so on? A lot of tension there.

Africa, war.  Asia in some parts has peace. Latin America is largely in turmoil.

I have some problems with EU values, EU rights...
