Kellogg’s recalled the cereal in June, but it is reportedly still being sold in stores.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is renewing warnings about a recalled cereal after it was linked to 30 additional illnesses.

The CDC announced Tuesday that Kellogg's Honey Smacks, which the company recalled on June 14, 2018, is "likely the source of this multistate outbreak" of salmonella. As of Aug; 30, 130 people in 36 states have reported becoming sick after consuming the cereal, and 34 people have been hospitalized. No deaths have been reported.

Along with the CDC, the Food and Drug Administration is investigating the outbreak, which began on March 3, 2018. According to the FDA, the last illness onset was on Aug. 7. Officials warned that more cases could be added to the tally, due to the time it takes for the illnesses to be reported.
