During a Michigan State University convocation Monday, Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor admitted that she essentially cheated her way into college.

“I was the perfect affirmative action child,” she said, according to The Daily Caller, admitting to the school’s student body that she had earned admission into Princeton University in the 1970s not via merit but via racial preference.

We all know what is wrong with Sotomayor.

What I am wondering about is what is wrong with Michigan State.

That once great university already shelled out a half-billion in settlements on the Nasser scandal, but now invites a know racist and cheater to address its students.

What a fall for a once-respected university.

She didn't cheat, she used the rules to her advantage.  It's the rules that are the problem.

You mean.... kinda like Elizabeth Warren used her fake "indian heritage" to get special consideration?   I call that cheating.  But yeah, the rules are set up deliberately that way... so that the leftists 'special' little groups of constituents can get a leg up over whiteys.

No, Elizabeth Warren did not have any tribal affiliation so she cheated.

Fauxahontas evidently just lied about her Indian heritage.  (We have known for about five decades that Harvard loves Indian applicants and other minorities.)

I haven't read the link.  Did Sotomayor admit to doing anything beyond following the rules that happened to be ridiculously advantageous to her?

If by 'the rules' you mean by cheating out more qualified students a chance to enter Princeton, you are correct.  She is blatantly proud of her actions as in this blip:

She apparently does not care, as she continues to support affirmative action on the basis that the purported need for so-called “diversity” outranks the need for meritocracy.
