A 16-year-old male was fatally shot Friday afternoon when gunfire erupted near a high school in the San Francisco Bay Area, police said.

Around 5 p.m. local time authorities in Fairfield received calls about a possible shooting near Armijo High School, the San Francisco Chronicle reported.

The scene above makes it appear like other school shootings we have seen though, this one appears to have been a personal grudge, gangs or something like that and thankfully, not a mass shooting.

TAYLOR, Texas --  Three Taylor High School seniors were arrested Wednesday after officials said they made comments about committing a school shooting.

The students -- all 17 years old -- have been identified as Devant Davis-Brooks, Kadin Watson and Emmanuel Tejas Pina. All three were charged with making a terroristic threat.
