Have a weak grip?
It may signal future health troubles—even in kids.

    By: Robert Preidt, HealthDay

Get a grip! Testing grip strength is simple, non-invasive and can easily be done in a health care professional’s office. It has value for adults and children. (For Spectrum Health Beat)

Weak grip strength in children may point to a higher risk of such health problems as diabetes and heart disease, new research suggests.

In a new study that followed children from 4th grade through 5th grade, a grip-strength test was given to the students at the start of the study. The researchers said that nearly 28 percent of the boys and 20 percent of the girls were classified as having weak grips.

You don’t become cooler with age but you do care progressively less about being cool, which is the only true way to actually be cool.

Lol, geez

Why @CatherineofAragon I was only showing my concern for the long term heath of Camera Hogg should he actually live past the next few years.  As this story has shown, weak grip strength in children like Hogg may point to a higher risk of such health problems as diabetes and heart disease.

First thing---he's always going to be Camera Hogg for me from now on.

Second---I would never doubt your motives.  I know they're always pure. However, this study needs more work.  It looks like absence of testosterone might play a part, too.
