I've said this in another forum, but I think it bears repeating.
Does what we know (so far) rise to the level off impeachment?
No.
Not exactly true
@GrouchoTex The actions may have taken place during the campaign, but he lied about those actions as president. Thus the coverup extends the collusion and corruption into the presidency.
Would I have him impeached? No. But that is incidental to the fact.
The grounds are there, and the appetite is there, caused largely by his own actions.
And in fact, it is also immaterial if this is what finally cuts him down or not - They will keep digging and they will keep trying, and whichever whatever it is, I will almost guarantee that what finally brings him down is lying about it during the impeachment trial.
I have said for a long time that he is indefensible. I think people don't understand what I mean.
We may have our first democrat senator since Lloyd Bentsen, and I am not too happy about that.
Feel how you will about Ted Cruz, but he been a good senator for our state.
If that is true, you can hang the blame for it right on the scandalous lies about him told during the election... And we all know where that came from.
But, as a consolation, If Tump is impeached, and Pence ascends, Cruz may be too busy being Vice President :)
All that being said, I refuse to believe that Texas is dumb enough to believe all that slander against Cruz. I really do. I think a lot of what is going around is propaganda, and Cruz walks with it, as he should.
This part a lot of you will not like, but here it comes:
I would have never wanted a Clinton elected, not again, ever, but we may have been screwed over either way this turned out.
Trump's election to be the POTUS may have only slowed the inevitable result.
YEP. Nothing, nothing at all, will stop this train, hurtling into oblivion, except Conservative principles being applied at every level. Liberty is only given to a moral and just people.
