Robert Kennedy Jr. launches first lawsuit of thousands against Monsanto alleging herbicide Roundup causes non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma

Monday, July 16, 2018 by: JD Heyes

(Natural News) Environmental attorney Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has filed the first of what he termed “several thousand”  lawsuits against agri-giant Monsanto, alleging that its widely-used herbicide Roundup causes non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.

Jurors in San Francisco heard hours of scientific data about the chemical’s link to the disease, which has a high survival rate after five years, but which can cause others to become terminally ill.

The Kennedys have nothing better to do, I guess.

There is a Congresswoman, DeLauro, a NE Democrat.

Crazy laws regulating organic, farmer's market, type folks went into effect, along with incidental crop growing, became against the law, or regulated to the point that it wasn't worth it.
The incidental crop growing is where a seed from the farmer next door, who purchased a GMO seed for better drought resistance, or whatever. blew onto your land and started growing.
You could be arrested or fined for that.

Real sad stuff, and now a Kennedy is suing them, which seems odd.
I guess Monsanto didn't want to contribute to the dems anymore?
Is DeLauro retiring?

HR 875

DeLauro introduced HR 875,the Food Safety Modernization Act of 2009. This legislation is aimed at reforming the food safety responsibilities handled by the FDA. The introduction of this bill represents a potential conflict of interest, because of her husband's, Stanley Greenberg, relation to agricultural biotechnology corporation Monsanto.

I wonder why a democrat would sue a cash cow for them like Monsanto?
