George Stephanopoulos is currently the Chief Anchor and Chief Political Correspondent for ABC News. He is also a co-anchor of Good Morning America and This Week. He also regularly substitutes on ABC World News Tonight.
Before becoming a “journalist,†Stephanopoulos was a Democratic Party political adviser and the Communications Director for Bill Clinton’s 1992 presidential campaign.
He then went on to become the White House Communications Director as well as Senior Advisor for Policy and Strategy.
He is also a member on the Council of Foreign Relations.
Stephanopoulos has also been a Clinton Foundation donor and did not disclose any of his donations to ABC News or his viewers when he interviewed Peter Schweizer, the author of Clinton Cash.
