Pennsylvania Sen. Bob Casey says he'll oppose Trump's Supreme Court pick
Morning Call, Jul 9, 2018

Hours ahead of President Donald Trump’s prime-time announcement of his selection for the U.S. Supreme Court, and Democratic U.S. Sen. Bob Casey has made up his mind.

The Pennsylvania lawmaker’s office sent out a news release shortly after 11:30 a.m., stating that he will not be supporting Trump’s nominee for the top court, regardless of which of the four finalists it is.

“I will oppose the nomination the president will makes tonight because it represents a corrupt bargain with the far right, big corporations, and Washington special interests,” Casey said in the statement.

BTW was he lisping like Sylvester the Cat when he made these comments?

It is perfectly plain - he wants a liberal judge or he is voting no and everyone on the list is not a liberal.  Every Dem will do that.

Unions dominate politics in PA, particularly in the big cities.  Casey has their backing. 

Plus Republicans tend to nominate duds to run against him.
