Hey, NeverTrumps, Where Would We Be with Hillary Clinton Right Now?

Will the NeverTrumps ever come to the realization that President Trump is executing the conservative agenda most of them have been dreaming about for the past three decades?  Finally, the answer to their prayers is here, yet many NeverTrumps like Washington Post columnist Jennifer Rubin continue to slam this administration.

What will it actually take to get these nitpicking resisting NeverTrumps to taper down their sour-grapes anti-Trump rhetoric?  Please, we implore you to look in the mirror and maybe just come to grips with reality.  Your fellow conservatives on the right are asking you kindly to please stop going after a president who is doing positive things for our country.

Realistically?  Obama-era corruption, a leftist judiciary, and lots of coughing into the microphone.  But also ... no trade wars, a smaller budget deficit, less embarrassing rhetoric, similar economic conditions, and no orange cult.  I am not sure why it has to be one or the other.

First...there needs to be a delineation between the beltway/media NTs, who were quite happy with the swamp status quo and are quite happy to undermine everything he has attempted to do, AND those of us who for our own principled reasons could not vote for either of the people on the ballot BUT who support him when he does something right and shake our head when he does something spectacularly stupid thereby making HIS OWN agenda harder to achieve. 

The problem arises because the members of the trump cult (the true believers) cannot segregate those two aforementioned groups and thus treat everyone who is not fully 100% onboard as the enemy: to be derided, hated and threatened.  It is THEY, exactly like the beltway NTs, who have lost all sense of objectivity and any remaining vestiges of intellectual honesty.

Only.... there is no similarity re: economic conditions under Obama and now.... other than the ever-spiraling, out of control national debt/deficit.  The Obama leftists kept the economy stagnant deliberately during those eight years.

The budget deficit is similar to those Obama ran in his first term.  Trump is spending money he doesn't have, which is why I don't pay a lot of attention to the hype.  There is an artificial boost from deficit spending and, unless the rosy 2nd quarter forecasts verify, the GDP growth is similar to what we have experienced since the last recession ended.  Would Hillary have made a material difference in the long run?  I guess Trump has a chance to distinguish himself at some point.

Well, if every non-Trump positive post looks like an endorsement for Hillary, it sure can appear that way.  Some of us are more nuanced. 

That said, never underestimate the value of a good mocking punchline.

I should clarify.  A debate based on the question "Is President Trump a weeny or what?" will produce no winners.  As for me personally, I'm winning more than losing at 1 1/2 or so years into the era of President Donald Trump.  I like that.

Pretty presumptive to assume any of us would want to come inside the GOP plantation house that we escaped from.

Why would you think that we would want to be anywhere amongst a mob that declared us the 'enemy' to be punished and destroyed for our lack of allegiance, loyalty and faith in Trump?
