Proud To Be An American? These Students & Democrats Aren't
While there are things that are happening in America of which we should not be proud, there is certainly much that we should be thankful for!

Lee Greenwood made the song God Bless The USA: I'm Proud To Be An American famous. It was something of an anthem for many. I prefer the term "thankful" compared to proud (1 Peter 5:5-6; James 4:6-7), as I didn't choose the land of my birth but God, in His sovereignty, appointed me to this land, for which I'm grateful. However, there are many in the united States who are neither proud nor thankful to be an American, and some of them have been captured on video saying as much.
Campus Reform took to the streets of New York City and approached quite a bit of college students who simply were not thankful to be in the US, even though they are in no hurry to leave.
