When families are arrested and separated after attempting to enter the United States illegally, 54% of Likely U.S. Voters say the parents are more to blame for breaking the law. The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that only 35% believe the federal government is more to blame for enforcing the law. Eleven percent (11%) are not sure. They better hope it's this transient issue, since Rasmussen once had his approval at 50 and now it's 46.
Oh, I'm sure in the short-term it took a hit. But we've seen this time and time again, as the truth overcomes the media narrative, it bounces right back.
Running and hiding, The Republican Way, doesn't work. Taking the bull by the horns can work.
Oh, my...it's so distressing... do we credit Ted Cruz for saving his bacon, or attack him for backing down! Now that the numbers are out, which way does it go!?
What exactly did Ted do?
But forth a bill that would have increased enforcement and gotten the kids back with parents by increasing the rate of deportation.
Yes, I wasn't sure about that bill at first, but having read it, and having watched what went on, it was the best thing to do. Better than an EO that walks back enforcement.
Ted needs to convince his Senate colleagues.
We're sure you've read it.
It is what it is... period. WYSIWYGWill the Cruz sycophants say anything?
@TomSea, I repeat - are you calling me a liar?
@Sanguine I repeat, I wouldn't put anything by the Cruz sycophants. You can make whatever you want out of that and what those words say. Go compliment cussers or people who call others names. You haven't been nice to me 2 years running and I don't expect any special treatment. I am what I am.
