I hope you get a moment to listen to the give and take between the "press" and the POTUS.  It will be time well spent.

Well you could have given a link so that we could listen.  All I see is a box that says no longer available.  I did go to youtube and look it up so that I could hear what Trump said.  I have to say it was short and impressive.  Saying that our other Presidents had not represented us and the tariffs are going to change.  Good job!  His pressure for Russia to re-enter.  I am not so sure about, but admittedly I am no expert in foreign affairs.
AG William Barr: "I'm recused from that matter because one of the law firms that represented Epstein long ago was a firm that I subsequently joined for a period of time."

Alexander Acosta Labor Secretary resigned under pressure concerning his "sweetheart deal" with Jeffrey Epstein.  He was under consideration for AG after Sessions was removed, but was forced to resign instead.

You're probably using internet Explorer @Chosen Daughter and that blocks the imbedded videos.

Anyway ... here's the youtube link:

Oh, that's what it is.  I have that problem a lot.  Get the big boxes that say no longer available.  Thank you.  I did go and look it up as I said.

Good presser ....

@Right_in_Virginia   Not just good ... that was great.  I cannot believe what a super speech he made and I can't believe I watched the whole thing including the Q&A session.

No one who watched it could doubt his commitment and determination on both trade and the NK meeting.  He managed to make himself clear without dissing anyone except Obama.
Against stupidity, the Gods themselves contend in vain.

Thanks for the post RIV.  Yes, great speech and it seems to be one promise that Trump is keeping; FAIR trade in lieu of FREE trade.  This was one issue by the way that Rand Paul's father, Ron, campaigned on and why I liked the guy.  Bammy also campaigned on this issue but obviously either lied or just never accomplished what he promised.

This is a good win for Trump and this is good win for the U.S.A.   :patriot:
I Believe in the United States of America as a Government of the people, by the people, for the people; whose just powers are derived from the consent of the governed; a democracy in a republic; a sovereign nation of many sovereign states; a perfect union one and inseparable; established upon those principles of freedom, equality, justice and humanity for which American patriots sacrificed their lives and fortunes.  I therefore believe it is my duty to my country to love it; to support its Constitution; to obey its laws to respect its flag; and to defend it against all enemies.
