Parkland students going on nationwide bus tour to register voters, call out NRA donation recipients

The student survivors of the Parkland school shooting are going on a national bus tour across this summer to register young people to vote and highlight recipients of National Rifle Association (NRA) donations, BuzzFeed News reported.

The tour, called “March for Our Lives: Road to Change,” will begin June 15 and cover 50 stops in 20 states.

“This tour is about exposing people who take money from the NRA and registering people to vote — those are the two main things we’re trying to push with this,” said Jaclyn Corin, a student survivor told BuzzFeed News.

Many of the Parkland students began to advocate for gun control after the February shooting, which left 17 people dead. In March, they hosted the “March for Our Lives” rally against gun violence.

On a sorta related note -- I was watching some news footage about the Parkland graduation this weekend.  Didn't see any shots of Piggy Boy or the almost bald chick.  Wonder if they really graduated. 

Thee kids should be spending their suummer working -- earning money for college or whatever -- instead of running around the country causimg trouble.

Hogg didn't graduate, that I know. He has to attend summer school and won't graduate until August.

As for Ms. Castro Fatigues... who knows? Better question, who cares?

The fact that some of their classmates died in a shooting does not give them any greater moral authority on that issue than anyone else.  Zero reason to listen to them.

Of course they'll never stray from the college towns like Bezerkley, Iowa City, Ithaca, Austin, or Madison, but it would be eye opening for them if they did stop in non-liberal enclaves in the Midwest and South.

LOL. So they think a bunch of slacker High School punks are going to stay motivated going cross country on a bus? Like hell. Most of them will wash out in the first week because they never have been away from home before.

I am invisoning a horror movie version of Almost Famous... but with out  Hogg Aides and a Penny Lane to take his virginity .  But I can see Little Hogg on a roof yelling "I AM A GOLDEN GOD" then jumping and missing the water.   Splat.
