She felt suicidal and Harry didn't help her?  I call BS on this whole "suicidal" thing.

That's the land of fruits and nuts. I bet there's a therapist on every corner, so she really has no excuse.

Why Meghan isn't coming to the Coronation revealed: Duchess of Sussex 'was unhappy that letter to her from King Charles did not answer her complaints that royal neglect left her suicidal and how bullying probe had been launched against her'

The Duchess' letter was reportedly sent in reply to one from King Charles himself

Meghan Markle was left upset after a letter from King Charles did not address her belief that neglect led to her feeling suicidal or concerns over the launch of a bullying probe into her, it was claimed last night.

The Duchess of Sussex wrote to King Charles about the issues, as well as about unconscious bias in the Royal family after her bombshell Oprah interview, it has been claimed.

She is believed to have brought up her poor mental health while participating as a working royal, having claimed in the interview that she reached the point of feeling suicidal but was told by palace aides she was not allowed to seek professional help.

There was also said to be disappointment that the letter from Charles did not address her concerns about the bullying probe which was launched into her behaviour towards staff.

These feelings may have played a part in the Duchess' decision to remain in California while Prince Harry attends the coronation, The Telegraph reports.

Maybe the real problem Meghan isn't that you are Black, and who would know if you didn't tell everyone because it makes you 'special', maybe the problem is that you are a disgusting attention whore and oh yeah

....My hunch is I bet Harry is glad she's isn't going either and will enjoy some breathing room for awhile. I imagine she's in his face 24-7 complaining how she's being mistreated by his family.

I think she's the type that's never happy regardless.

I feel sorry for their children.
You're everywhere I go, I am not alone
You call me as Your own to know You and be known.
You are holy!
And I fall down on my knees.
I can feel Your presence here with me.
Suddenly I'm lost within Your beauty,
Caught up in the wonder of Your touch.
Here in this moment I surrender to Your love.

Prince Harry will 'sit 10 rows back' from other royals at King Charles' coronation and will 'not hang around', expert claims

Prince Harry could be sat ten rows behind his brother at the King's coronation
Former butler Paul Burrell said he believes there is 'no chance' of reconciliation

Prince Harry will be sat ten rows back from other senior royals at his father's coronation before making a hasty exit, according to one royal insider.

Former butler Paul Burrell says the Duke of Sussex may have little time to speak to the King or his brother, The Prince of Wales, during his visit next month.

He added there is 'no chance' of a reconciliation following the fallout from his bombshell memoir Spare earlier this year, The Sun reports.

Despite the appearance of a snub, Prince Harry's far-back position could be helpful if he wishes to make a quick exit, the ex-royal aide revealed.

Mr Burrell told GB News' Dan Wootton: 'He doesn't want to spend much time around them.

Since he has zero "Royal Blood" in him,he should be happy  to park cars if that's what it would take to get him access to the Royal Family event.

His mama was a Ho and  his daddy was the military man assigned to teach  her how to ride a horse. Evidentially, she was also riding something else at the same time.

Only six days to go! Royal superfans continue camping out on The Mall ahead of King Charles' coronation
Daily Mail, Apr 30, 2023

Royal superfans are continuing to camp out on The Mall this weekend as they try and bag front row seats to the procession for King Charles' coronation.

A number of royal supporters have erected temporary homes made of tarpaulin along the iconic road just over a week before the big day on May 6.

Keen observers will notice camping beds and bags of belongings underneath the huge blue mass, along with some familiar faces.

When the procession itself comes past on Saturday, with the King and Queen being taken to Westminster Abbey and back to Buckingham Palace, the stretch of road is expected to be lined with thousands of people.

So perhaps it's no surprise that some of the keenest fans of the monarchy have got there early in an attempt to beat the last minute rush for the prime spots along The Mall.

We are ALL invited to swear our allegiance to the King: How historic break with centuries of tradition will turn Charles' big day into the People's Coronation
Daily Mail, Apr 29, 2023

Millions of people will be called upon to swear 'true allegiance' to King Charles at the Coronation, it can be revealed.

For the first time in history, every citizen of the UK and all the other nations of which the monarch is head of state will be asked to 'make their homage in heart and voice to their undoubted King'. The trailblazing move will make the ceremony more of a 'People's Coronation', as previously only members of the aristocracy were called upon to make such a pledge.

The 'Homage of the People' is just one of the significant updates to the ancient ritual, which will see other religious faiths, as well as the Church of England, playing key roles. Female members of the clergy will also be involved for the first time.

The influence of the late Queen will be clear throughout the two-hour ceremony and there will be a tribute to the King's late father, Prince Philip.

And when Queen Camilla is crowned after her husband it will be the first time a Consort has been anointed in full public view.

The break with centuries of tradition will be most marked with the Homage of the People, when the Archbishop of Canterbury will call on those in Westminster Abbey, and watching on television to pledge their allegiance.

It replaces the 'homage of the peers' where members of the aristocracy lined up to honour the new monarch. Now only Prince William, Charles's heir, will do so.

Royal biographer Sally Bedell Smith said: 'It's hugely exciting. It's probably the most radical departure from tradition we've heard about so far, and it's about as inclusive as you can get, asking the whole world to acclaim him as King.

'It's a wonderful, democratic and inclusive gesture and very 21st Century. We knew all along this was going to be a different and modern twist on the Coronation but this step is really quite a radical one.'

Constitutional expert Sir Vernon Bogdanor added: 'It's a very sensible change. Even in 1953 I think it was out of date to have the peers there to represent the people as a whole. It is certainly out of date now. It would look ludicrous.

'The Coronation confirms that he is the rightful King and it's right that a sample of people should be doing that. The Coronation has to balance tradition with adapting itself to current conditions.'

That is creepy as hell.  Homage specific to the person and not the sovereign Regal crown?

That alleigiance has always been inferred as a birthright, not a Nazi sounding salute.

The Prince and Princess of Wales today shared a heart-warming new photograph from a family day out in Sandringham to mark 12 years of marriage.

Prince Harry 'faces uniform humiliation' at King Charles' coronation - while brother William will be allowed to wear military garb

Military Historian Dr Johnston claims Harry will still wear his medals, however

Prince Harry could be facing 'uniform humiliation' at King Charles III's coronation as he may not be allowed to wear military garb.

The Duke of Sussex did announce that he will be attending the historic coronation on May 6 - but he will be alone as Meghan and their two children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet will remain at home in California.

Now royal commentators are considering what the prince will be wearing and whether he will even be allowed to fit within the processions to Westminster Abbey.

Military Historian Dr Peter Johnston told True Royalty TV's The Royal Beat that Harry may be allowed to display a different tribute to his service despite serving two tours in Afghanistan.

'I imagine Harry won't wear uniform [at the Coronation],' he said.

Prince William's Key Role at Coronation Revealed — How the Heir Will Pay Homage to Father King Charles
People, Apr 30, 2023

The Prince of Wales, who is heir to the British throne, will step forward at Westminster Abbey on May 6 and pledge his loyalty and allegiance to the King during the historic ceremony.

Soon after King Charles is crowned midway through the ceremony, Prince William, 40, will kneel before King Charles, 74, and place his hands between the hands of the King and say: "I, William, Prince of Wales, pledge my loyalty to you and faith and truth I will bear unto you, as your liege man of life and limb. So help me God."

Prince William — who celebrated his 12th wedding anniversary with Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales on Saturday — is the only royal who will pay his respects in this way in the service.

Prince William will also appear during the coronation service as the Stole Royal (from an ancient Greek word meaning "scarf") and the Robe Royal are brought to the King. William will assist the Baroness Merron and bishops in putting the robe on King Charles.

The liturgy also sees another distinct break from the past, with the Archbishop, the Most Rev. and Right Honorable Justin Welby, inviting people around the U.K. watching or listening to the ceremony to join in a Homage of the People. That role would traditionally have been done by hereditary dukes and earls at Westminster Abbey.

The Church of England says this is a "new and significant moment in the tradition of the Coronation . . . As never before has the general public been offered such an opportunity to join with national figures in declaring their allegiance to the Sovereign."

The new vow says, "I swear that I will pay true allegiance to Your Majesty, and to your heirs and successors according to law. So help me God."

Prince George, Prince William's eldest son who is second in the line of succession, will also play a special role in his grandfather's coronation. The 9-year-old royal will serve as a Page of Honor to King Charles at the crowning ceremony.

George's participation at the coronation will make history — according to The Telegraph, Prince George will become the youngest future king to play an official role at a coronation.

By now Harry must realize that his disloyalty to his family has consequences and his marriage to the gold digger was a huge mistake.  He has two children though and I hope they bring him a lot of happiness.

Harry can give us the blow by blow by being sitted 10 rows back sitting there in  his newly minted title the "Duke of Douchebaggery".  There he can get with Tony Blair's 3rd cousin, and get up to date on all the Football, Cricket, and Polo scores.

@libertybele

Ok,first of all, they are NOT his family. His mother was not related to any of them except by marriage, and his father was NOT a member of the Royal Family. The polite fiction is that he is a blood relation. He isn't.

The name Charles is maybe the most dubious of the entire monarchy of England/UK in the past 1200 years.
You'd think Chucky would would know his own's nation's history better.

I really want to start a separate thread on just the coronation.

That way it will be easier to find in future reference

Prince Harry Will Leave U.K. Within Hours after King Charles' Coronation Service: Report
People, May 1, 2023

Prince Harry's visit to the U.K. for King Charles' coronation will be a quick trip.

Over the weekend, The Sun reported that the Duke of Sussex, 38, will be in and out of Great Britain in 24 hours for his father's historic crowning ceremony beside Queen Camilla at Westminster Abbey on Saturday. The May 6 coronation day is also Prince Archie's 4th birthday, and Harry is reportedly flying back to be there for his son.

"Harry will be in and out of the U.K. in 24 hours," a source told The Sun. "He will only be doing the coronation service, then leaving."

According to the outlet, the Duke of Sussex will arrive on Friday and be back on a plane within two hours after the church service ends on Saturday. The transatlantic trip of more than 5,400 miles is about an 11-hour nonstop flight. With the time difference, he could be home in California with Prince Archie, daughter Princess Lilibet and wife Meghan Markle by evening.

Just to clarify, the  is a commentary on the design of the invitation (I think it's awful), not the king's name.
