EXCLUSIVE: Defiant Meghan tells friends there's nothing 'legally stopping' her and Prince Harry from using their Sussex Royal name, despite Queen banning them from using it

Meghan Markle has told friends there's nothing 'legally stopping' her and Prince Harry from using their Sussex Royal name, DailyMail.com can reveal
The Queen said they couldn't keep the word 'royal' in their 'branding', despite the likely thousands of dollars Meghan and Harry have sunk into their website
Meghan complained using the name 'shouldn't be an issue... and it's not like they want to be in the business of selling T-shirts and pencils,' the insider said
'Meghan said the global projects they are working on speak for themselves and they chose that name to protect the royal name, not profit off of it'
'She said they know what their true intentions are and that's all that matters'
The friend added: 'Meghan said she's done with the drama and has no room in her life for naysayers, and the same goes for Harry'
The couple began using the Sussex Royal branding last year, after splitting from the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's household known as Kensington Royal

I suspect he already has more than an inkling, but that is a VERY tough thing to drag out into the plain light of day,and face off with. If you don't know from personal experience, count yourself as one of the lucky ones, and ask practically anybody you know over 35 or so,and they can tell you. Not saying they WILL tell you because nobody really wants to drag out THOSE old memories, but they could if they wanted.

Prince William holds meetings preparing him to take over from Prince Charles
Nicholas Bieber

Prince William has started making preparations to take over a major role from his dad when Prince Charles becomes King.

The Duke of Cambridge has held a meeting on his succession training, which will whirr into action once the Queen dies and Prince Charles takes the throne.

William will automatically inherit his dad’s “Duke of Cornwall” title and £1 billion “Duchy of Cornwall” estate when the big day comes, the Daily Star Online reports.

Gosh, while I know everyone starts to die as soon as they are born, it will be weird not to have Queen Elizabeth II. She’s the only English monarch I’ve ever known, and I think a lot of people can say that. How many people who are alive recall George VI or Edward VIII?

Harry is so far down the line, even behind Williams kids, that is no way he will ever be anything but an overpaid baby brother.
The Queen wants him to sick around, do what he is told and collect his millions in unearned income while being hounded and badgered by the media and the public 24 hours a day...
So who is disrespecting who?
Harry is to young and to smart to spend the next 80 years as an also ran..

Technically that’s not true. If something had happened to Charles and William, my understanding is if William’s children were underage, Harry would be regent until the oldest became of age. This is why William IV who hated Victoria’s mother so much was so happy when she finally turned 18 and he died shortly thereafter. His biggest worry was if he died before his niece was 18, her mother would be regent and he disliked the Duchess of York.

It also explains certain myths about Richard III. When Edward IV died his brother Richard III became regent for his two sons, who were not of age. Richard put them in the Tower of London. Someone murdered the boys, and Richard thereby became King. Originally he should have only been King Regent for six or seven years. Same with Henry VIII’s son Edward VI, he had a regency council rule for him that was made of Jane Seymour’s brother , and later the first Earl of Warwick. Edward had a coronation but he was only nine, so he technically wasn’t King.

@EdinVA

And....,let's be honest about it. His father was one of  his ho mother's boyfriends,NOT Prince Charles. Can't remember his name now,but IIRC,he was a Major in a Calvary unit,MAYBE Scots Guards. Everybody is being polite about this because it's not his fault and there is no need to embarrass the innocent, but it ain't what you would call a secret that Prince Charles was never what anyone would call a "studly man". He managed to pump out a heir, and then he pretty much lost interest in Diana.

Meghan Markle ‘wants to bail out on her terms,’ says Prince Charles biographer: It’s ‘spiteful fury’

excerpt:
“The statement was really spiteful fury from Meghan — What Meghan wants Meghan gets,” he fired on the morning show, as reported by U.K.’s Daily Mail.

“It was rude to the queen,” he continued. “What is spiteful is, she married into the royal family not that long ago and she bailed out. But she wants to bail out on her terms. What is most important for this country is to protect the reputation of the royal family. What you’ve really got is this couple being led by Meghan [who] wants to commercialize the royal family.”

Journalist Afua Adom questioned Bower, asking how he could possibly know Harry, 35, is being “led by Meghan," 38.

“It’s the truth,” responded Bower. “She has a whole life, a whole career of commercial exploitation of herself. She has absolutely no status apart from being attached to the royal family.”

Friend of Princess Anne found shot dead at Boris Johnson’s old home, murder-suicide attempt eyed
By Joe Tacopino | New York Post

A dog trainer who worked for Princess Anne was found shot dead in a suspected murder-suicide attempt at the former home of British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, a report said.

Debbie Zurick, 56, was killed at the cottage where Johnson grew up in England, and her husband John was left in critical condition from a gunshot wound, according to The Sun.

“I thought they were happy together. They seemed to have the perfect life,” Debbie’s half-brother Phillip Townsend, 44 told the newspaper.

Prince Harry returns to UK for final round of royal engagements, requests to only be called 'Harry'

Prince Harry returned to the United Kingdom for one of his final engagements as a senior member of the royal family.

The Duke of Sussex, 35, traveled to Edinburgh, Scotland by train to attend a summit for an eco-friendly tourism firm called Travalyst, according to reports.

The event host, Ayesha Hazarika, informed the crowd that Harry did not want to be referred to as "Prince" during the appearance.

Meghan Markle 'snubbed' for Disney role
as 'she needs them more', says film boss
Mirror [UK], by Brogan-Leigh Hurst

Meghan Markle is said to have been snubbed by Disney for being a "controversial figure," following reports her agent was finding her a Hollywood role with the film company. The Duchess of Sussex, 38, is believed to be trying to get herself back into acting as she and husband Prince Harry start their new life, after they stepped down from royal duties. Responding to speculation, an unnamed film executive has revealed there are "limited plans" for Meghan to secure a big role - after she allegedly told her agent to find her a superhero role with Marvel.

You know,Hollywood is so full  of snobs it never even occurred to me that Markle would be a victim of reverse snobbery, which,of course,is based on jealousy.

How ironic is it that her carefully-crafted career move would end up killing her career because of the jealousy of her peers?

Prince William Jokes About Spreading Coronavirus During Royal Engagement
“By the way, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are spreading coronavirus, Sorry,” the royal cracked at an event in Dublin.

By Lee Moran

Prince William cracked what some critics considered to be an insensitive joke about the deadly coronavirus outbreak during a royal engagement in Dublin on Tuesday.

“I bet everyone’s like ‘I’ve got coronavirus, I’m dying’, and you’re like, ‘No, you’ve just got a cough,’” the Duke of Cambridge was caught on camera telling first responder Joe Mooney at a reception at the Guinness Storehouse.

William also asked Mooney if he thought the crisis that has killed more than 3,000 people worldwide ― nine of them in the U.S. ― was being “a little bit hyped up” by the media.

If course she's beaming, she got what she wanted. I have never seen a person so aware of every camera ooophoto

I read elsewhere they did not bring Archie which I think is mean-spirited in denying the family a chance to see him...

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry not bringing Archie to the UK is 'spiteful and inconsiderate' because his great-grandfather Prince Philip 'won't be here much longer', Queen's former press secretary claims

I don’t want anything happen to the Queen. May she live as long or longer than her mum.

MSNBC guest Victoria Mather calls Meghan Markle ‘five clicks up from trailer trash’ :rolling: :rolling:

............Mather, who was identified in the video as a “Vanity Fair Royals Watcher,” told anchor Lindsey Reiser that the former “Suits” star has been “disrespectful” to the British royal family, particularly Queen Elizabeth II, Harry's grandmother.

“I think what has really, really upset the British public is that Meghan Markle, who many people consider as only, you know, five clicks up from trailer trash, has actually tried to disrespect the queen,” said Mather. “And the queen is the most respected person, most respected woman, in the world.”................

BREAKING: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle leave Canada and set up home in LA amid the coronavirus crisis and flew by private jet to California before Trump closed the border
Daily Mail, Mar 26, 2020

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have left Canada for good to set up a permanent home in to California, according to reports.

The couple, along with 10-month-old son Archie, are said to have flown to Los Angeles by private jet before Donald Trump closed the border.

A source told The Sun: 'The borders were closing and flights were stopping. They had to get out.'

Harry, 35, and Meghan, 38, are said to want to be close to 'their new team of Hollywood agents and PRs'. The source added: 'Meghan has lots of friends there and, of course, her mum Doria.'

They had been holed up at their Vancouver Island waterfront mansion amid the coronavirus pandemic.

But their latest move is said to have 'stunned and horrified' others in the royal family after Prince Charles, 71, tested positive for coronavirus. Sources say it had been hoped that they might return to Britain amid the pandemic.

"Their new team of Hollywood agents"??  Perhaps Meghan's new team and Harry is at her side.  "Meghan has lots of friends there"; meanwhile Harry gave up everything, his career, his friends, his royal family, perhaps his country?  It seems Meghan is more and more selfish as time goes on.

I can't help but wonder if Harry agreed to all of this before they were married ... or if Meghan has something over him, like his son Archie??  If they divorce how can he return to the royals?

I hope I'm wrong and he's truly happy.

They Love L.A. – Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Move to California

Simon Kent27 Mar 20202,553

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex — also known as Prince Harry and his Hollywood wife Meghan – have left Canada behind and moved permanently to California, UK media reports said Friday.

The Royal couple flew by private jet from Canada to Los Angeles last week before the border between the two countries closed because of the deadly Chinese coronavirus outbreak, the Sun newspaper reported from London.

The transfer is part of the “transitioning” process from all Royal duties to a “progressive new role” in 2020 the two outlined in January.

Living in Los Angeles also moves them closer to living a “modest life of seclusion and privacy away from the media spotlight” they have previously announced was vital to their future.

It is thought Prince Harry is now keen to pursue his environmental mentor role while wife Meghan has never concealed her desire to restart her acting career.

Royal Palace confirms Queen Elizabeth tests positive for coronavirus

UNITED KINGDOM- Queen Elizabeth II has tested positive for the novel coronavirus, Buckingham Palace confirmed in a shocking release a few minutes after Prime Minister Boris Johnson revealed he tested positive for coronavirus.

News of the Queen testing positive for COVID-19 does not come as a surprise since there was a possibility that she could have been exposed by the virus during one of her weekly meetings with Prime Minister Boris Johnson who tested positive an hour ago. ...

Her health, the palace added, remains good and stable though she has shown mild symptoms of the novel coronavirus.

In a brief statement, the palace said:  “HMQ has also tested positive and is currently self-isolating at Windsor Castle. The Queen came into contact with the PM on the 11th March and is following all the appropriate advice with regards to her welfare”. ...

Other news sources' last stories indicate that although she did see Boris Johnson on March 11, the queen remains okay. But those stories were tweeted at least 9 hours ago.
