This kind of article presents a coherent argument conservatives have tried to make for a decade .... don't debate, defeat.

Sometimes @RoosGirl it's a good thing to read the article in its entirety. And this was one of them.

You'll have to tell me what I've said that I really don't believe. Not expecting a serious conversation on this article is different than not expecting stuff like this not to be mocked, particularly within context of who posted it.

This article isn't a defense of the President @roamer_1 I posted the article because it returns to the thesis that we must defeat political enemies, not debate them. If you've read the article you know the enemies it refers to are liberals.

Why would I have to convince *any* conservative of this strategy --- since they have (supposedly) been crying out for it for a decade?

This article is not about you and it's not about me. It is about something greater ... a winning strategy.

That is entirely dependent upon your definition of 'winning'.
The 'strategy' that is now in place has nothing to do with the Principles of Conservatism, so in what way can a Conservative consider it 'winning'?

There is no unity. We are at crossed purposes. And that, increased with the prejudice of the last 3 years.

The only way that union can occur is in the adherence to the principles that brought us all together. That is the only concord that has ever been, or ever mattered. And that is also the only clarion call that will be heard by Conservatives anywhere.

Your movement is destructive toward its own apparent means. It calls itself 'conservative', while deriding the very principles that define Conservatism. It uses liberal tactics and preaches liberal thoughts.

There is nothing to unite with in that.
