Good tunes @TomSea have all that on vinyl which I don't get to often enough.  Last Zeppelin tune (for awhile), switching to Texas for my Game.

No, Thank You @corbe

Much prefer the mesquite and mescal to wandering through the English rains of old LOTR fantasies.

Hey @corbe; sorry if I gave anyone the mistaken impression that's me.

I just pasted the copy from this guy's youtube pages.

Mebbe later, on my stuff.  :xedfingers: Got a few other items heading up my personal parade at the minute.

He's a pretty hot picker but I couldn't say I wish he was me, not if I'd have to live in Finland.

  Back to some Prine

John Prine That's How Every Empire Falls

John Prine That's How Every Empire Falls

Caught a train from Alexandria
Just a broken man in flight
Running scared with his devils
Saying prayers all through the night
Oh but mercy can't find him
Not in the shadows where he calls
Forsaking all his better angels
That's how every empire falls

The bells ring out on Sunday morning
Like echoes from another time
All our innocence and yearning
and sense of wonder left behind
Oh gentle hearts remember
What was that story? Is it lost?
For when religion loses vision
That's how every empire falls.

He toasts his wife and all his family
The providence he brought to bear
They raise their glasses in his honor
Although this union they don't share
A man who lives among them
Was still a stranger to them all
For when the heart is never open
That's how every empire falls

Padlock the door and board the windows
Put the people in the street
"It's just my job," he says "I'm sorry."
And draws a check, goes home to eat
But at night he tells his woman
"I know I hide behind the laws."
She says, "You're only taking orders."
That's how every empire falls.

A bitter wind blows through the country
A hard rain falls on the sea
If terror comes without a warning
There must be something we don't see
What fire begets this fire?
Like torches thrown into the straw
If no one asks, then no one answers
That's how every empire falls.

Quote
Y si alguno pregunta por ti
Le diré que te has ido
Le diré el por que tu no estas
Sin tener que mentir
Sin tener que mentir

Era todo una vez para mi
Y te dí mi cariño
Más despúes te marchaste
Y al fin me dejaste sabiendo
Que ma haria sufrir

Todo este tiempo
La he buscado tanto
No tengo esperanza
De volverla algun día
Encontrar

Ahora veo el tiempo correr
Sólo si tu no estas
La tristeza invade mi ser
Y que más puedo hacer
Y que más puedo hacer

Todo este tiempo
La he buscado tanto
No tengo esperanza
De volverla algun día
Encontrar

To dance the Bamba,
to dance the Bamba,
one needs a bit of grace.
A bit of grace for me, for you,
now come on, come on,
now come on, come on,
for you I'll be, for you I'll be, for you I'll be.

I'm not a donkey,
I'm not a donkey, I'm a stallion.
I'm a stallion, I'm a stallion.
Bamba, bamba,
bamba, bamba,
bamba, bamba, bam...

To dance the Bamba,
to dance the Bamba,
one needs a bit of oil.
A bit of bacon for me, for you,
now come on, come on.

Rrrraa-ha-haa...

I do not date my sister,
I do not date my sister,
Never have and never will.
No matter what everyone says,
now come on, come on,
now come on, come on,
for you I'll be, for you I'll be, for you I'll be.

Bamba, bamba,
bamba, bamba,
bamba, bamba...
You cannot "COEXIST" with people who want to kill you.
If they kill their own with no conscience, there is nothing to stop them from killing you.
Rational fear and anger at vicious murderous Islamic terrorists is the same as irrational antisemitism, according to the Leftists

Damn, @DCPatriot Greg Allman never sounded that good!

Actually, I was looking for a cover of that where the bass beat isn't synthesized.

I was at a little get together tonight and a new-comer sat down and played the entire piece himself.

Had tears in my eyes at the end...to see it performed while I stood over his shoulder.

These were a group of musicians, but not playing anywhere publicly.  All employed professionals.

They asked me if I played...I said that I used to play keyboards but haven't done so in about 40 years.

They called me out.  Sat down and froze.  Played a few jazzy runs and said no more.

This nerdy looking guy named John Hart sat down and we all held up our lighters at the end.  I'll never forget it.
