Can't help but continue a bit on Tom Jones, well, the guy was a big sex symbol and most guys probably think, "Yeah, he's a singer popular with women" which is true.... but his story is interesting and doesn't quite fit what we see on stage...

He's from Wales, He got married at 16 and that was his lifelong marriage which is pretty darn good, his wife passing on only a few years ago in 2016, see "personal" in wikipedia     https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tom_Jones_(singer)#Personal_life  not a marriage where he was perfectly faithful and one can see why.

The song that made him really, "It's not unusual", he met this guy in Wales who was going back to London and told him to record the song in Lonon.... there's really a few versions of the story but that's the gist of i.

So, despite Jones being seen as really a "chick" magnet, a pretty good song from 1964:

The Barry Sisters per the above video, they sang some ethnic stuff, one can read up on them. They sang to the Israeli troops during/after the Yom Kippur war, that's ? '73 I believe.  Pretty interesting. A lot of Yiddish songs by them on youtube for those interested.

For real? Where was this? I was dancing the same dances at the same time probably several states away from where y'all were. Great dancers in this group! My lament in school was that there weren't enough guys who were really good dancers.
