US Jewish protests against Israel highlight growing schism
14 American Jews were arrested in action aimed at pushing members of Congress to condemn Israel’s killing of Palestinian protesters in Gaza

Thursday 26 April 2018

Fourteen American Jews were arrested by the New York Police Department after blocking the entrance to US Senator Chuck Schumer’s New York office on Thursday, the latest Jewish-led civil disobedience action aimed at pushing members of Congress to condemn Israel’s killing of Palestinian protesters in Gaza.

Chanting “Free, Free Gaza” and singing Jewish prayers while wearing black, the protesters, all members of Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP), sat in front of Schumer’s office building, locked arms and unfurled a banner that read: “Schumer, your silence is shameful. NYC Jews stand with Gaza. Palestinians should be free.”

Not necessarily. There is no way to know if any of these people are actually real Jews. Nobody ever verifies their Jewishness. If a hundred people show up, and only one of them is actually Jewish then he/she will be their spokesman for the press.

Leftist anarchist are well known to throw protests named, Jews for LGBT/Jews against Israel/Jews for Palestine/Jews for-against whatever...

But when you check out the people who show up to these things you find that most of them are antisemitic radical Leftist who could not pick Israel out of a world map and have no idea what they are protesting. All they know is that it is a protest against Israel, and that is enough for them to show up.
You cannot "COEXIST" with people who want to kill you.
If they kill their own with no conscience, there is nothing to stop them from killing you.
Rational fear and anger at vicious murderous Islamic terrorists is the same as irrational antisemitism, according to the Leftists.

There has always been a Schism between Jews on the subject of Israel.

In Europe, before WWII, Jews either were Zionists, who supported the idea of a Jewish state in then-Palestine,  and the Socialist Bundists, who abhorred the idea, because their goal was a worldwide socialist revolution.

As was pointed out, there have been schisms in the Jewish community since Korach and before. A Jewish schism is more the historical norm than it is any aberration. After all, the American Jewish community itself is a schism, composed of Reform, Conservative, and Orthodox Jews.

But again, these American "Jew for/against this or that" protests are mostly organized and supported by radical Leftists and Muslims than they have anything to do with what the American Jewish community actually thinks. I'm not denying that there may be a schism. I am only saying that I wouldn't trust these fake protests to tell me that.

If you go to a 'Jews for Gaza' protest and then you go to a 'Catholics for Homosexuality' protest, you will find the same people at both. They don't care about the religion. The protesters only care about the issue.
