Democrats outraising Republicans in key U.S. House races
« on: April 16, 2018, 08:11:00 pm »
Democrats have a $10.5 million fundraising advantage over Republicans in the 25 most competitive races for seats the U.S. House of Representatives ahead of the November elections, according to an analysis by Reuters.

Party leaders, encouraged by recent victories in special elections in Pennsylvania and Alabama, hope it will be enough to help them flip 24 seats needed in November to wrestle control of the chamber from Republicans.

And I'm sure it's all donations of $10 or less properly funneled and bundled from out-of-state.

The Republic is lost.

Just a short while ago, the news was reporting that the GOP was out raising the DEMS.  Regardless, if the GOP doesn't get it together and get it together soon, we WILL lose both houses.  I have no doubt.

It appears that the same thing is happening on the Senate side.  As much as I admire and respect Cruz; and as many times as people from TX  don't think Beto has a snowball's chance, I'd say Cruz is in trouble.

It's about 8 years a little bit too late for them to 'get it together' AFAIC.

They gave us the finger repeatedly, told us to sit down, shut up or get punched in the nose.  They reneged on every single campaign promise they made in the last 8 years, they took ownership of ObamaCare 'root and branch' and now draft trillion-dollar omnibus spending bills in secret, that fund the entirety of the democrat agenda, and vote on that before anyone has had a chance to read it.

Nope.  Makes not a damn whit of difference which one of these Big Government Statist parties is in power and runs the show.  We get offed up the dark side no matter which of them in in power.

It's time to do something different.

Let them go the way of the Whigs as they deserve.
Fart for freedom, fart for liberty and fart proudly.  - Benjamin Franklin

...Obsta principiis—Nip the shoots of arbitrary power in the bud, is the only maxim which can ever preserve the liberties of any people. When the people give way, their deceivers, betrayers and destroyers press upon them so fast that there is no resisting afterwards. The nature of the encroachment upon [the] American constitution is such, as to grow every day more and more encroaching. Like a cancer, it eats faster and faster every hour." - John Adams, February 6, 1775

IMHO, it does make a difference which party is in power; provided that the GOP continues to back and uphold the 2nd amendment.  Once the majority members within the GOP  stop doing that, as Rick Scott in FL did, then you are absolutely correct; it won't make a "damn whit of difference".

They will fold and go along with abolishing the Second Amendment as easily as they did surrendering treaty power to Obama and in accepting ObamaCare into permanency. A good chunk of them already have accepted gun bans and more restrictions in the aftermath of Florida.

There's already not a 'damn whit of difference' except in the speed that statist absolutism will be imposed.

Hitlary outraised Trump. Abortion Barbie outraised Abbott. Rats outraise the GOP all the time. This is nothing new.

Allow me to repeat: no one from El Paso has ever won a statewide race, and Beto will not be the first. Ted owns the suburbs.

Thanks for the reassurance.
