In spite of these Early (Worthless) polls 35/50% +/- that the Trumpers keep posting, Trump has done nothing to excite Republican Voters outside of his hard core base and even loss a hearty chunk in signing his 'WINNING' budget. We'll see if Republicans 'buy in', again to Einstein's definition of insanity.
Oops, off topic.
I was admittedly happy to see him, early on, rescind a few rules and allow a pipeline to (finally) be completed. That's a half million barrels of oil not traveling by rail, getting to refineries cheaper than by train, and a wee bit less money in Warren Buffett's pocket (a wee bit, because a lot of oil still goes out by rail). Not to mention quite a few raving lunatic ecowhacko criminal types no longer in our State. Crime dropped when they left. I'm good with all that, but I wasn't a Trump voter, and no longer am a Republican, so I don't fit the study group.
It has only been since this egregious mediafest/witch hunt and the incredible porosity and permeability of his staff and agencies which enabled that, that he has had difficulty dealing with the office. If the GOPe were not lining up their groomed usual suspects in the wings to return to the Obama era bid'ness as usual, he might be doing better. Yes, he owns some of the disruption via Twitter, and his past history (before office), but that should come as no surprise to anyone who was paying attention. As for the rest, he can only sign what Congress gets to the desk, and the Congress has failed miserably to deliver. It's on them, as far as I am concerned, and they will claim it is a referendum on Trump to, once again, avoid owning up to their own failures.
