Man arrested at border faces child sex charges in Randolph

ASHEBORO — U.S. Border Patrol agents in Texas arrested an illegal alien with an active arrest warrant in Randolph County in February. The man, Luis Enrique Rodriguez-Bravo, 44, formerly of a Ramseur address, was extradited to North Carolina and is now in the Randolph County Jail under $350,000 bond.
Charges, originally filed in 2008, include two counts of statutory rape/sex offense by a defendent more than 6 years older than the victim and one count of incest with a child 13-15 years old by a defendent more than 6 years older.
