Cook Political Report moves 13 House races toward Dems

Several House races have shifted in favor of the Democratic Party ahead of November's midterm elections, the Cook Political Report said Friday.
A number of House Democrats find themselves in safer seats while some Republicans now face slightly higher chances of defeat in November, the nonpartisan elections analyst said in its latest rankings.
In total, thirteen races shifted in favor of the Democrats in Cook's latest rankings, including Reps. Tom MacArthur (R-N.J.), David Valadao (R-Calif.), and Robert Pittenger (R-N.C.) who all saw their districts move from "likely" Republican to "lean" Republican.
