For years, Congressman Brian Mast has been a strong supporter of the NRA and the Second Amendment.

After 17 people were shot and killed in Parkland, his stance changed causing an uproar from the Republican community.

“Let’s put a temporary hold on what’s going on with the sale of gas operated semi-automatic rifles,” Mast said.

Apparently recoil-impelled semi-autos are OK.  First I'd seen somebody make the "gas-operated" semi-autos an issue.  I guess he's coming after my rifles and my shotguns?
