Two coalition personnel killed in Syria; Trump signals end of military presence

March 30 (UPI) -- Two U.S.-led coalition personnel were killed in Syria and five others were wounded in a bomb attack, as President Donald Trump signaled ending U.S. military presence in the war-torn country.

Military officials said the attack occurred Thursday night with an improvised explosive device. The identities and nationalities of the dead service members had not been released early Friday.

"Details pertaining to the incident are being withheld pending further investigation," the U.S. Central Command said in a statement.

Happened in Manbij which is in the Kurdish area, I hope we didn't hit a bomb the Kurds planted. That seems possible since ISIS is largely out of that area  but they are against Turkish military and there allies, some of which are Jihadists, Free Syrian Army.

What a mess and what a tragedy.
