@TomSea Tom, I don't think Kim is going there to tell China he is giving up, wants to have peace so will give up his weapons of mass destruction. That program is the life blood of Kim and every citizen in that country wants to blow up America. I saw a documentary of that country, and the citizens' goal of their entire life is to destroy America. If Kim dared to appear weak, he would destroy the reason they live and the reason he needs to stay in power. He is not going to destroy himself on purpose, no way.
There is one possibility: he now has his goal of being able to send nuclear tipped rockets to the US; can explode one/more in the upper atmosphere and take out our power for years. If he has that now, he can lie and say he wants peace and will stop his program, having secluded the nuclear material and rockets where we can't find them. If he doesn't have that capability now, there is no way he will stop until he gets it.
There is another possibility: he wants China to join him and completely destroy the US. He is nuts enough to try that and who knows, maybe China will.
