Muslim students want Florida student expelled for refusing to try on a hijab on Hijab Day
Imposing Islamic absolutism on the public square continues apace.

Kathy Zhu is a 19-year-old student at the University of Central Florida. She was offered to try on a hijab on Hijab Day. She refused and posted a message on Twitter to criticize the initiative. After that, the Muslim organizers asked the University to expel her.

If she had been pragmatic and tried the hijab on and been on her way, none of this would even be an issue.

Exactly.   What was she thinking.  Haters got to hate.

Having watched the video .. the title does not really reflect what happened.

Yes, the student (Kathy) refused to try on a hijab ... but that isn't the complaint.  Kathy took several pictures of the booth and the sign "My hijab empowers me" and posted them on her "social media account" along with her commentary.

One of the girls in the photo objected to the picture being posted w/o her consent as well as the commentary.

The points that Kathy, now facing possible (though I doubt it) expulsion, was making in the video were "this is fascism" and she "has a first amendment right to express her opinion".  Kathy's right on both counts.
