A third person has died in Australia after eating melon contaminated with listeria bacteria.

Fifteen elderly people have now been infected in the outbreak, which is being linked to a melon-grower in the state of New South Wales.

The first two fatalities were from New South Wales, and the third victim was in the state of Victoria.

It's kind of scary when foods we eat everyday end up poisoning us, we in the US had that ice cream food poisoning a few years back. Then, I don't remember, if there was something wrong with some Chipotle food. It rings a bell.

And the cantaloupe was from Australia, so not other countries.

The danger is to "sliced cantaloupe" they are saying, so, the knife or whatever it was cut with sounds like the problem.
