Sen. Ted Cruz: One day we will see a free, independent Kurdistan
Kurdistan24

WASHINGTON DC, United States (Kurdistan 24) – “I am strongly supportive of a free and independent Kurdistan,” Sen. Ted Cruz told Kurdistan 24.

“The Kurds have been our friends,” the Texas Republican explained. They “have stood by America in times of need. They’ve stood by American at real cost, at real sacrifice.”

Cruz, himself, has long been a friend to the Kurds in the US Congress.

There may be a Kurdistan some day, surely, it will not be in a large area like this.

Not sure if there are any other big Ted Cruz fans besides myself in this forum but earlier, I should have included the video as well:

Per the map in post 2; I'm not up on this but I believe in Iraq, the Kurds have an "autonomous"  or "semi-autonomous" region while still being part of Iraq. Okay, Israel isn't a big country landwise. It does seem that the Kurds could get their own country but it won't be the big area as in the map above. Kurd dominated land in Turkey is actually a fairly good slice of land, I'd say about 20% of Turkey.  Surely, Turkey won't give in on this point.
