Grinning Trump gives the thumbs up as he visits victims of Florida massacre in hospital but refuses to be drawn on whether country's gun laws need to change

    President and First Lady flew to Florida this afternoon and they are spending their three-day weekend in Palm Beach
    The Trumps stopped at the Broward County Sheriff's Office and Broward Health North Hospital trauma center where victims were brought
    Trump came face-to-face with still hospitalized victims from the school shooting
    Afterwards he shared a smiling photo op with a victim and her family
    The president also shared shots of himself with Melania smiling and giving the thumbs up with hospital staff
    The president took questions from the press pool at the hospital and said he 'did indeed' visit with victims, adding 'it's very sad something like this happened' 
    However, he ignored a follow up asking 'Do gun laws need to be changed?' 
    Trump and Melania departed the hospital in motorcade at 7:15pm

The president and first lady flew from Washington to Florida on Friday afternoon. "Incredible recovery," Trump said while at the hospital. "Incredible. And first responders. Everybody. The job they've done is incredible."

"It's very sad something like that can happen," Trump said after being asked if he'd met with victims. "But the job the doctors did, the nurses, the hospital, first responders, law enforcement -- really incredible. The speed that they got the victims over to the hospital is record speed. In one case, 20 minutes. In one case, 19 minutes, from the time they were shot. It's an incredible thing."

The White House didn’t release the president’s schedule ahead of the visit, but Trump tweeted earlier in the day that he planned to meet “with some of the bravest people on earth,” whose lives “have been totally shattered.”

Actually you didn't use her own words against her. You injected your own words to half ass some argument that doesn't make sense.

We have a picture of the victim and her family smiling in front of the camera. Would you rather the President and the First Lady be sobbing like morons? My guess is you don't care. You would bitch about that as well because you are as unhinged and irrational in your hatred of Trump as any filthy fairy Resist snowflake screaming at the sky.

There’s a difference between laziness and interest.  Given that you and HuffPost are both known quantities when it comes to Trump, I expected you’d be wrong.  When I pressed the Siri button on my phone and said ‘Huffington Post Donald Trump Florida,’ the link I provided was the first result. 

So, was the fact you ignored that story in your painstaking HuffPost research due to laziness or was it against your interests?    :pondering:

Actually it was a factually correct hard news article.

The Daily Mail is actually fairly conservative as the Brit papers go. I learned more about the crap the Libs were doing when Obama was in office that I ever did from any U.S. newspapers.

You're just upset because it didn't gush lovingly about him in the way you do and think everyone should.
