What a waste of time, money and agita.

Except that I’m angry about all this. A president’s first year in office is when a new administration has the most good will from the American people and has the greatest chance of getting big agenda items done.

Well, spiteful democrats and leftists have deliberately and fraudulently taken all that away from President Trump. Who knows how successful Trump could have been in his first year if he had not been hobbled by tainted approval numbers.

Now that Mueller has exposed this online troll scheme, I hope Rosenstein gives him authority to tackle other serious issues like ‘catfishing.’

It could turn out to be like when an innocent man (Trump) gets convicted by the false testimony of a jailhouse snitch (a Russian meddler, in this case) who is led to believe he will get favorable treatment for helping to convict the prosecutor's bigger target (Trump).

These witch hunts by corrupt prosecutors sometimes turn out to be frame jobs, I think.

So, these Russians were in the country illegally, and created fake American identities.

Doesn't that make them Dreamers?

Russia started their anti-US campaign in 2014, long before I announced that I would run for President. The results of the election were not impacted. The Trump campaign did nothing wrong - no collusion!

1. No American knowingly participated
2. Did not affect election

How does Mueller justify keeping his witch hunt going?

That's the tragedy, and not just to President Trump and his supporters, but to American democracy generally.   The Dems have now established a pattern of refusing to accept the results of a free and fair election.   Just as bad, they'd rather cripple the new Presidency just as it is facing the normal crises affecting any incoming administration.

I’ll tell you how. At the very moment this interference was happening, Donald Trump had Russian dressing while reading Dostoevsky. Clearly you can see how Trump’s guilty of collusion and planning the death of Western civilization, can’t you?

I can see the Russian dressing, but reading Dostoevsky?  That's a book too far.

I caught the first half of Medved's show. What a tool he is.

If he's any indication, the left will declare all of this money well spent, curse the Russians and urge everyone to get on with business.

Anyone who thinks maybe we shouldn't move on quite yet until we've determined the scope of the involvement with the Russians of the Obama administration and Clinton campaign will be accused of conspiracy mongering.

BTW I wonder how much of the Special Council's declaration today has to do with the recusal of judge Contreras and its effect on the investigation?

All of this investigation of Trump is to the benefit of democrats. They somehow get a Special Council appointed, and investigation going, and it detracts from the duly elected President's ability.

We shouldn't move on just yet.  I think this is a preemptive strike to define the "Russian interference" as having been on the Trump side, rather than on the Clinton side.  I think that may be what you are implying also.

Statement from the Press
Secretary Regarding the Russia
Indictments

Foreign Policy  Issued on: February 16, 2018

Earlier today, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein announced indictments against 13 Russian nationals and 3 Russian entities for meddling in the 2016 Presidential election, which began in 2014 before the President declared his candidacy. President Donald J. Trump has been fully briefed on this matter and is glad to see the Special Counsel’s investigation further indicates—that there was NO COLLUSION between the Trump campaign and Russia and that the outcome of the election was not changed or affected.

President Trump says, “it is more important than ever before to come together as Americans. We cannot allow those seeking to sow confusion, discord, and rancor to be successful. It’s time we stop the outlandish partisan attacks, wild and false allegations, and far-fetched theories, which only serve to further the agendas of bad actors, like Russia, and do nothing to protect the principles of our institutions. We must unite as Americans to protect the integrity of our democracy and our elections.”

Ditto that.

What many TBR members haven't yet realized is that Trump's most vicious enemies are literally fighting for their very lives.

Not to mention the upcoming release of the IG's report.

Hopefully getting the hell out of dodge may be looking good to Mueller and his band of miscreants.

Yes, but it would be unfortunate if by doing so they got to set the narrative and leave the impression that it was the Trump team that the Russians were supporting.

LOL... you’re probably right. But, for the record, there’s no truth to the narrative Trump doesn’t read. I’m certain he’s going to be reading in all the papers about Hillary et al indictments, arrest, trial and sentencing... or The Brothers Karamazov, depending on his mood.  :silly:

Great. If they are down, keep hitting them until they submit, are dead, etc. Figuratively of course.

Yeah, but you've got to admit, there's reading and then there's Dostoevsky.  And, Proust.

I can visualize Trump reading Crime and Punishment.  Definitely not Remembrance of Things Past, though.

Let Mueller close up shop.

Then appoint another SC to investigate the extent of the FBI's political collusion with the Clinton and Obama camps. Including Mueller.

That is all the proof that they think they need to impeach and remove Trump from office.

I agree, in the sense this is going to keep the "Impee Foty Fie" crowd on their feet.
