SALT LAKE CITY — A Utah State Senator says a woman may have tried to entrap him at his hotel room, and lawmakers are asking for a police investigation.

Sen. Evan Vickers, R-Cedar City, told reporters he was getting ready to leave his hotel room at the Little America on Thursday night when a woman knocked on his door.

"I opened the door and there was a young lady standing there and she said 'Hi,' and I said, 'Hi, who are you?' And she said, 'I’m your date.' I said, 'No, you’re not.' She said, 'Yes, I’m your date.'"

By chance, does the senator know Lawrence Taylor?

NEW YORK -- Lawrence Taylor had a strategy not found in NFL
playbooks: He sent escorts to opponents' hotel rooms the night
before a game.

"You know what they like, and what type of women they like, and
you just call the service," the Hall of Fame linebacker said in an
interview that "60 Minutes" will air Sunday on CBS.

Taylor said the plan was to make sure opposing running backs
were not ready for the game. The former New York Giants star said
the prank was played on him.

"Knock on the door, you open the door, and you got two
beautiful women sitting there, (saying), 'We're for you!' And I'm
like, 'You're in the right place,''' he recalled with a laugh.

This was probably done by either his best friend or his political opponent.

I disagree.  Circle gets the square.
