Trump: 'Little Adam Schiff' leaked classified information

George's son Robert Soros married Melissa Schiff.  They were together for 22 years, but split in 2015.  Melissa and Adam are NOT brother and sister, nor are they related in any way I've found.

If the President has proof that Schiff “leaves closed committee hearings to illegally leak confidential information” (as he claimed), I think the President of the United States has an absolute obligation to notify the Department of Justice of that evidence, and I think the DOJ should then prosecute Schiff to the fullest extent of the law.  Of course, I doubt the President has real evidence that Schiff leaked anything.   I suspect he just made it up (or just heard it on Fox News).

If Trump knows of credible evidence that Schiff did indeed leak classified information, then he should direct the Attorney General to investigate. IMO, that's a more appropriate action than issuing another Tweet.

Yeah,and it would be buried in the evening news,IF mentioned at all,the Dims and their RINO pals will gather their wagons around the offender,and there will be no charges and no trail.

With the tweets Trump is sidestepping the deep political holes designed to keep his message from being heard. I was against them at first because let's face it,it's something that mostly appeals to dumbasses,but Trump has managed to write enough outrageous things on his that his tweets end up getting mentioned on the evening news. He's actually outsmarting them and using their own medium against them.

If Trump had any real evidence of this leaking, instead of telegraphing whatever evidence he has here on the Twitterverse, he would have gone quietly to his DOJ, had them compile evidence against Schiff and prepare actions against him - AND THEN Tweet the info as DOJ holds a press conference about their investigation into what Schiff did and present it to Congress for action.

BUT NOOOOOOOOO.   

Instead..... we get more circus, which does a terrific job of getting all the talk about the corrupt FBI and other Alphabets off our minds to talk about the pissing match between these two.

Personally, I don’t care if it’s covered by the news media or not.  That’s beside the point IMO.  If we’re going to have the rule of law and we’re going to have a Presidential Administration truly focused on law and order (as was promised), I think it’s time to hold leakers accountable.  If the President doesn’t have an Attorney General willing to hold them accountable, it’s the President’s responsibility to fix that IMO just like it’s his responsibility to put forward his evidence of Schiff’s leaking to the Attorney General.  Of course, that presumes that he actually has evidence, which I doubt.

The CNN version of Bush's legacy, perhaps.  But unlike you, I never bought into the Dem talking points of the Bush Presidency.  Overall, I think Bush did a great job considering how much the deck was stacked against him.  Before the Dems retook control of Congress in 2007, the deficit had fallen to $160 billion.  I will take that any day over the trillion dollar deficits we have seen for the last nine years.

The end of the Bush Presidency came from Congress in 2006 with two events:  1) Amnesty, 2) Failure to introduce privatization to Social Security.

The second point is key.  Because if Republicans had passed this, they would have never lost another election again.

I voted for him, since at the time I was a loyal GOP voter (I no long am, W cured me of that) But
I am not so sure that Gore would have been worse. Kerry was unthinkable but W second term was
a unmitigated disaster. At least with President Kerry we would have dodged the President Obama
bullet.

I quoted a poster that claimed Soros was married to Schiff's sister,but have since done a little research and found out it was the wrong Schiff (his son) and the wrong Soros.

As for Alcee Hastings,(D-Fla),before being elected to the US Congress he was a sitting federal judge,and he got arrested and convicted for taking bribes to throw trials. Professional courtesy being professional courtesy,even after being convicted of this felony he never spent a day in jail. He was just removed from the bench.

Not long after that happened he ran for Congress and was elected. He is now on several congressional committes,and IF I remember correctly,is the chairman on a Congressional Committee having to do with military operations in foreign countries.

I have NO proof he is taking bribes to sell secrets,but since he took bribes as a federal judge,it doesn't take a  huge leap of faith to suspect he is also taking bribes as a US Congresscritter.

After all,he is a congressman and he is black. WHO is going to charge and arrest him?

It's really funny in some ways.  My initial reaction to the Trump tweets was that of any sane person until I realized the more wild-sounding they are, the more the press will leap on them to show how stupid Trump is, and, in doing so, give him the airtime he wanted.

I agree that your scenario would be preferable.  The problem is that I don’t think he has a DOJ to do it.

Compared to what we've had over the past 30 years I'm happy with most of whats going on, policy wise.

That is a very mature, analysis. What Trump lacks in decorum, he MORE than makes up for with results--in the eyes of real conservatives.
