He really should have evidence to back this.  If it's true, at the least, he should be kicked out of committee or resign, as it happened with Leahy.  Prosecution and expulsion should follow.

Presidents don't have the authority to remove congresscritters,or to demand they be arrested and put on trial. Congress has to do that. This is probably Trump's attempt to embarrass Congress enough to get them off the stick.  Won't work because you have to have a conscience to become embarrassed.

I think a perfectly fair arrangement was proposed.  If Trump has evidence, then it should be easy to produce, and we can take action, not just blather.  If he doesn't, then he should keep his stubby little fingers off the keyboard.

Im aware of this.  My point is, if there’s evidence of the leaks, it can be provided to the Speaker and Committee Chair.  That would initiate the process.

A brain fart isn't a thought.  Trump CAN'T  produce evidence without making classified information public himself,and he has no authority to charge anyone in congress with a crime,or to order their arrest. ONLY congress can do that.

Nothing like a urinating contest in DC to wake up the Trumpers and the Democrats.

If Trump knows of credible evidence that Schiff did indeed leak classified information, then he should direct the Attorney General to investigate. IMO, that's a more appropriate action than issuing another Tweet.

Trump's tweets might entertain his diehard fans, but to the rest of us, they reflect the mind of someone whose maturity stopped at about age 12, maybe younger.  Those tweets have become tiresome.

I have mixed feelings about the tweets.  I hate them and hate is justified, but there is another side to the story.

Now others are saying Trump's tweets have become the story distracting from what should be the story.

Isn't that what's been happening all along?  And isn't it also true that Schiff's accusations have received massive coverage from the press while press stories favoring Trump are pretty dang scarce.

No matter how I feel about Trump's tweets, I know this:  99% of the media is our enemy and Trump is their enemy.

Well since everyone seems to insist on turning this into a Cruz thread. What the heck, I'll play.

My main objection to Cruz re the presidency is that he is not a natural born citizen. I am not
going to debate that again for the 100th time. Other than that I consider Cruz a better then
average GOP senator. One thing I do not like about Cruz is that his instincts are almost always
wrong. One thing I like about Cruz is if you beat him hugely about the head and shoulders. He
will come around to the right way of thinking. And he is really good at making excuses for why
he at first got it wrong.

As a Texan I intend to vote to reelect Cruz in nov.
