Adam Schiff: 'It's very possible' Devin Nunes' staff worked with the White House on the FISA memo
by Naomi Lim | Feb 4, 2018, 9:35 AM

Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., said Sunday House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes' staff could have collaborated with the White House on the controversial Republican-drafted memo that alleges surveillance abuses committed by the Department of Justice and FBI against a former Trump campaign aide.

“I think it’s very possible his staff worked with the White House and coordinated the whole effort with the White House because it looks so much like this earlier effort, which we know was coordinated with the White House by the same chairman, who has said he would recuse himself but of course hasn't," Schiff, the top Democrat on the panel, told ABC.

What utterly amazes me, here, is the complete lack of context that the press places around this whole situation.

Some of the "Russian collusion" fantasy of the left largely centers around whether or not Trump officials met with Russians to... what? Obtain information that was otherwise lost to the American public. And what information is that...?

The emails that Hillary Clinton illegally hosted and subsequently destroyed when she illegally destroyed property of the U.S. government. Why don't they talk about that? This all begins with the crime HILLARY committed.

If journalists heroically met with Russian officials to find the "lost Watergate tapes" - or any other evidence of REPUBLICAN wrongdoing - they would be applauded as heroes. Since the media has no desire to dig deeper into Hillary's crimes, it makes sense that the Trump camp may want to know.

But, no no. It's TOTALLY OK for HILLARY to collude with ex-Russian KGB to produce a bullshit dossier on Trump, but NOT OK for team Trump to dig into possible TRUTHS about Hillary.

Riiiiiiight.
How to lose credibility while posting:
1. Trump is never wrong.
2. Default to the most puerile emoticon you can find. This is especially useful when you can't win an argument on merits.
3. Be falsely ingratiating, completely but politely dismissive without talking to the points, and bring up Hillary whenever the conversation is really about conservatism.
4. When all else fails, remember rule #1 and #2. Emoticons are like the poor man's tweet!
