K.T. McFarland asks Trump to withdraw her nomination for ambassador

K.T. McFarland, a former top adviser to President Trump, asked him Friday to withdraw her nomination to be ambassador to Singapore.

“I am asking that you withdraw my nomination to be the U.S. ambassador to Singapore,” she wrote in a letter to Trump, according to Reuters. “I have come to this decision reluctantly, because I believe in your mission.”
